The Solid Waste Division of Public Works is responsible for maintaining the County Convenience Sites and ensuring that all solid waste generated in Dorchester County, is disposed of in accordance with State and Federal Laws.

• Monday 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Tuesday 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM 
• Wednesday Closed
• Thursday 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM 
• Friday 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Saturday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Sunday Closed

Miles Jamison Convenience Site

The Miles Jamison Site is open on:

• Tuesdays & Thursdays 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Saturdays 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Sandy Pines Site 

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
