An after-hours service charge of $50 per hour (with a two hour minimum) will be assessed to all customer who request assistance from Dorchester County Water & Sewer (DCWS) after hours for a non-emergency situation.

After hours is considered to be any time outside of normal operating hours, including weekends and County observed holidays.

An emergency situation is considered to be a water main break or a sewer overspill.

A non-emergency situation is considered to be water secured at the meter due to a leak on the customer’s service line or a reconnect for non-payment.
