The Community Education Program is designed to educate citizens on our services and promote life safety and injury prevention. 

The Community Education Team participates in numerous community events including, but not limited to:

• The Flowertown Festival            
• See Saw Days
• The World Grits Festival             
• The Prom Promise
• Public Safety Career Day

In addition, every call that we respond to is seen as a chance to do some form of education to our community.

If you are interested in having a representative from Dorchester County Fire-Rescue as a guest speaker at your function, please contact the Fire Marshal's Office at (843) 563-0214.

Fire Safety training and education demonstrations and fire truck displays are also available.
