Emergency Operations Plan
The Dorchester County Emergency Operations Plan is a living document that describes how the County will respond to an emergency or disaster. The plan is reviewed and revised annually in accordance with SC Regulation 58-1 and certified by the SC Emergency Management Division.

Disaster Recovery Plan
The Dorchester County Disaster Recovery Plan establishes a local all-hazards framework to guide disaster recovery efforts of varying levels of complexity. The plan provides an organizational structure, including roles and responsibilities, to ensure coordination through multiple phases of the disaster recovery process.

Re-entry Plan
The Dorchester County Re-entry Plan provides guidance to local and state agencies for the return of businesses, residents, and visitors after an evacuation.

Hazard Mitigation Plan
The Dorchester County Hazard Mitigation Plan is a multi-jurisdictional plan which includes municipal stakeholders from the Town of Harleyville, Town of Reevesville, Town of Ridgeville, Town of St. George, and the Town of Summerville, as well as the Summerville Commissions of Public Works and Dorchester School Districts Two and Four. The plan is reviewed and updated every 5 years. The plan identifies community goals and objectives based on the results of the County's current risk and vulnerability. Each jurisdiction maintains an action plan which prioritizes actions to lessen the impacts of future disasters in each community.
