Dorchester County values our employees and strives to ensure each employee has access to a variety of benefits. For ease of use a list of benefits with links for additional information is provided below. Employees may access and manage their PEBA benefits inline at MyBenefits.

Benefit election and/or changes can only be made during the following time periods:

  • Within 31 days of starting employment
  • During the October open enrollment period
  • Within 31 days of a special eligibility situation, such as marriage, birth, loss of other coverage, etc.

Dorchester County Employees can opt-in for Basic Dental or Dental Plus.


Vision Plan

Dorchester County Employees can opt-in to the State Vision Plan.
