Mr. Bryan T. Havir joined Team Dorchester County as the Assistant Administrator for Community Services on Monday, February 8, 2021.

Mr. Havir brings with him over 25 years of management experience in local government. Before joining Team Dorchester County, Mr. Havir served as the Township Manager for Cheltenham Township in Pennsylvania for seven years.  

Mr. Havir holds a Certification in Community Planning from the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and is a licensed professional land planner.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Pennsylvania State University. 

Oversees 

The Assistant Administrator for Community Services assists the County Administrator in implementing policies as established by County Council.  

This position provides coordinated leadership for the Community Services Departments, which include:

• Planning and Zoning
• Building Services
• Parks and Recreation
• Neighborhood Services (Animal Control, Environment Services & Mosquito Control)
