Highway 78 Phase 3 Public Hearing

A Design Public Hearing for US 78 Phase 3 will be held on December 1, 2020 from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Dorchester County Council Chambers located at 500 N. Main Street, Summerville, SC.

Phase 3 of the US 78 Widening Project is proposed to increase capacity along certain segments of the road and improve efficiency of the roadway by reducing traffic delays. The proposed widening extends from 0.68 miles northwest of Orangeburg Road (S-18-22) to the Berlin G. Myers Parkway (SC 165).

Public comments regarding the proposed project will be accepted in-person between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Appointments are strongly encouraged for in-person comments and can be made by emailing the Project Manager, Bryan Webb, at us78phase3@davisfloyd.com or by calling 843-737-9855.

Public comments will also be received online at www.us78phase3.com from November 15, 2020 – December 18, 2020.
