Dorchester Amateur Radio Team Technician Class

When: June 10 and again on June 17, 2023

Where: Ashley River Park, Welcome Center Conference Room (200 Renken Road, Summerville, SC  29485)

Time: 9am to 5pm

There is no charge for the class and no materials are needed to purchase. However, the actual testing will not be available at this training. The actual test sessions are available locally, held the third Wednesday of every month.

Instruction is based on curriculum provided by American Radio Relay League (ARRL). The ARRL website has many resources available to help you prepare for the Element 2 (Technician) license. These include study guides, practice tests and even the entire question pool. There are 35 questions on the Technician License exam, and those 35 questions are pulled from the question pool. You can miss 9 of the 35 questions and still pass.
